What are the differences or similiraties of antioxidant and detox?

Posted by: admin  /  Category: Antioxidant

I’m a bit confused. Are they just similar?

Great question. There are many ingredients out there that serve different needs liken detoxifying and cleansing, neuroprotection, adaptogenic while still exerting Antioxidant properties. Antioxidants are free radical scavengers, increase glutathione and boost your immune system to fight infections and disease. Cleansers and detoxifiers offer protection, help rebuild damaged cells and exert antioxidant capabiltities. It’s more like subject area of use versus compound properties.

For example, milk thistle and n-acetyl-l-cystine have bee pn proven to protect the liver, repair damage, detoxify so they have been main ingredients for many liver products out there. Both ingredients also have antioxidnat properties which is related to their behavior as liver protectants and detoxifiers.

Another is Rhodiola Rosea, which is An adaptogen. This products helps your body adapt to stress thus boosting your body’s ability to fight stress caused from external or internal factors. Rhodiola also has antioxidants properties which help boost immunity helping your body handle stress more.

I take a product called defense armour 24 from neuro research group, which is loaded with ingredients that act as neuroprotectqnts (protecting the brain), adaptogens, cleansers, detoxifiers and antioxidants. Un their website they have every ingredient listed with benefits and properties. This could be a starting point for a quick read.
