Wow! Marty Looks Great!

Posted by: admin  /  Category: Anti Aging, Antioxidant, Marine d3, Uncategorized

I stopped by my buddy Duke’s house a couple of weeks ago.  I smelled the steaks on the BBQ and thought I would see what was going on.

Well, I found out that he had his dad Marty over for dinner and that Marty had invited my folks to join him.  What a surprise.  My dad was taking a nap on the couch so I gave my mom a big hug and tried not to wake my dad up.

Anyway I had not seen Marty in a while and was very surprised to see how good he looks.  The guy has the energy of a 40 year old and I think he just turned 76.  He and Ed, another of Duke’s friends, were yakking away about nutrition which is a pretty regular topic with Marty.  He is the last one to go to a doctor.  It seems he has an herbal remedy for pretty much anything short of a broken arm.

What I did not know is that Duke’s friend Ed is a real wiz on the subject of supplements and nutrition.  He was listening to Marty talk about a better type of antioxidant.  Apparently, the highest quality, most powerful, antioxidants come from the Oceans of the world.  There are certain species of sea creatures which can live for a couple of hundred years.

There is a product that is related to seaweed that has more powerful Antioxidants than acai berries, blue berries, or pomagranates.  This is said to lead to a more youthful look.  I am not sure if I heard “fountain of youth” but Marty and Ed sure seemed to know what they were talking about.  The subject was going way above my head so I decided that I should look into this supplement when I could get back to my computer.

I found a site where the supplement known as MarineD3 is sold.  I started doing some research and found out that it is really promising.  Hey, I’m not getting any younger myself.  I am 53 years old and I look it and I feel like it.  Now is the time to get going on a program of taking care of myself.  My exercise workout is not really strenuous but I do try to keep in shape.  (round is a shape right?)

So, I looked into MarineD3 and I decided that I needed to get into the supplement business.  If you click on the links on this page I may get paid a small commission for sending you to the MarineD3 site.  It will not add anything to your cost and it will allow me to continue spreading the word and to continue my research into this and other supplements.

Take a look at some of the articles I have posted on my blog.  You can get a feel for what sorts of stuff is available out there.  If you try MarineD3 please let me know how you like it.  I am interested in your feedback.

Questions about the USMC?

Posted by: admin  /  Category: Marine d3

Ok so I’m trying to play college hockey and I’m entering my junior year in high school and have a probable chance of playing either d1 or d3 college hockey. If all goes to plan, I will play hockey in college and then join the marines after. This means I will have a college degree. I’m not going to try to become an officer. I have researched tons of stuff on it and I just plan on serving 4 to 6 years and then using my degree to get a job in the civi world. But here’s the deal… I WANT TO BE AN 0311!! I have wanted to be one since I was a little kid and I can’t wait for these 6 years to go by so I can finally try to become one. Since I have a college degree, will that give me an advantage of getting 0311 as my MOS if I sign an 03XX contract? Or will my college degree make the corps thnk that I have more knowledge than the younger kids and they will out me in as some computer science thing? I don’t want this to happen. I have heard that if you sign an 03XX infantry cntract, your guaranteed an mos in the 03 field and your chances are pretty high of getting your number one MOS when you fill out your wish list in boot camp. Is ths true? I just really want to become an 0311 and I want to know what will make my chances better or worse. Also, can I use my college degree to my advantage?
Thanks!

Having a college degree will definatly help in that you begin as an E3. If the degree applies to the MOS, it can help. It certainly won’t hurt your chances in any regard.

Remember, the military is a meritocracy. The people who do the best get the best.

my red eared slider got eye infection her eyes r swollen as well as white spot in her eyes?

Posted by: admin  /  Category: Marine d3

is it infection or lack of viteman

**Lack of vitamins and improper food and not enough basking time, cold unfiltered water?
Swollen eyes due to lack of vitamin A fruits and veggies.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/29035692@N03/sets/72157614552292977/

***Some sicknesses they get easily like shell its actual holes rotting through the shell.
Respiratory sickness, lopsided swimming, coughing, vomiting, blowing bubbles from their nose. .
Increase water to 83/85 degrees.
Fungus white cotton patches on their skin.
Metabolic bone disease means an inadequate calcium and/or a vitamin D3 deficiency.

Contact rescues sites…and vets ..in your city ,state, or country
For land or aquatic turtles:

http://www.anapsid.org/reslider.html

Care from a lady with two 37 yr old gals, and 3 adopted males?

*** Aquatic Turtles are a life long commitment**
****Austinsturtlepage.com’ has all info on care and feeding and PICTURES for all land and aquatic turtles.
*** Ten gallons per inch of each turtle!! Sliders, westerns, cooters , midland, painted, map, yellow bellied ,are all are basically the same and require the same basic care.
They NEED calcium and protein they get it from the fish meat and the fish bones. Drop 20 or 30 or so feeder guppies or small goldfish or minnows they maybe a bit fast for babies at first just drop in the tank and watch them disappear in a few days! ***Remember, you need a heater…set at 83 / 85 degrees. If water is cold they will stop eating!
** When I got these two girls 37 yrs ago all we had to feed them back them were brown worms, tadpoles I caught and goldfish. And my girls are still going strong and just turned 37 yrs old this month.
Plus I also feed dried cubed blood worms or tubiflex worms or pellets at least 5 times a week for my five..
They can have garden worms which I collect after a good rain and dump them in the pond, also meal worms, snails, crickets, flies, crayfish small frogs, slugs, tadpoles, ghost shrimp , dragon flies and anything that moves, but only as a treat.
They need leafy greens Romaine, Butter lettuce. (Iceberg and cabbage are bad for them, any other leafy greens will do) for vitamin A that they need at least 4 to 5 times a week.
They love grapes and strawberries and squash , apples cut up..

These turtles in captivity do not. They cannot hear or see well so they feel you coming by the vibrations each foot step take.

Did you know that they need to bask under a reptile light UVA/UVB for up to 8 hrs a day for the vitamin D that they need to grow. TOSS in a bird cuttle bone in the water for calcium that will promote better shell growth, it will dissolve real slow and if they eat it that’s fine!!
So they need a turtle basking dock.

**Gravel larger than they can swallow, allot larger. **Better no gravel at all, easier to clean.
Their water needs to be clean otherwise the get sick easily from dirty water caused by their poop allot.***You need a GREAT filter system depending on the tank in a 60 gallon my girls were in one year’s ago. I used two double sided marine or penguin filters…It really helped keep it cleaner!

They will bite VERY hard. Under 4" they carry a disease called ‘salmonella’. So you should wash after every handling ANY size turtle or reptile anyway.
***And my pictures don’t lie. All ages and all sizes get along as long as their is allot for SWIM ROOM and PLENTY TO EAT! They can become cannibalistic if you have 2 or more turtles and a small environment. They will kill off the smallest and then fight for the tank for themselves.

Size for basic aquatic turtle is approx Body length: 6-8" is average for males, up to 12 inches max for females, but average is about 9 to 10“ in captivity. Life span: 15-25+ year’s plus. Males have the longer front nails and are used in mating. And are considered mature at about 5 yrs old. You can’t start sexing till about 3” across.

I wish you luck…

what 40k army to pick?

Posted by: admin  /  Category: Marine d3

i just finish my chaos army and im thinking about another 40k army any suggestions i would like a range army but is still good in close combat if something goes wrong

Even though they suck in CC, the IG are it.
In apocalypse you can ally them with your chaos army as heretics so that’ll boost your army. So a 2,500 point chaos army and a 2,500 point Guard army=5,000 point apocalypse army.
But as Games Workshop has said, this year is going to be big for the IG.
New Leman Russ squadrons, Sentinels with plasma cannons and better armor, Ogryns have higher toughness, a Heavy 20(yes 20) ap6 tank. AND Valkyries!! Deathstrike missile( 1 shot per game S10 AP1 D3 +3 blast, ignores rule about half strength on vehicles if scatters off and a 960 in range!)
For the amount of blast weapons you can have, you can’t go wrong with IG.
Although I would wait till may to get the new IG codex, but they look promising. New catachan models are cool looking and new ratling models are amazing.
I play them myself and the ability to blow away half an orc mob with 1 shot from a basilisk is amazing (15 orcs if you;re lucky). Rough Riders are good at close combat and have fleet of hoof and spears that give a 1 shot ap2 attack in close combat(take that you darn termies).

The ability to swarm fire warriors and broadsides with infantry to allow your tanks to take out other targets is also a good advantage.

Necrons were nerfed in 5th edition so a new codex is coming out sometime in the future year, probably replacing the "We’ll be back rule" with Feel No Pain. Necrons today have a rule that if 75% of your troop choices are knocked out, you "phase out"(a.k.a lose).C’Tan are going to leave in the new codex and be apocalypse only units.
Tyranids are numerous, but have low armor and can suffer after a "synapse" beast is taken out in the game. Cool looking models though.
Eldar are difficult to maneuver as all their choices are specialties except for guardians which suck. If you can’t control their strengths and weaknesses, you will always lose.
Dark Eldar are impossible to find, but most DE players kick total a$$.
Chaos Demons are decent, but rely on invulnerable saves that can be canceled by immolaters. But can be numerous like IG.
Space Marines…pretty much a chaos army without the chaos.
Daemonhunters are pretty good, but have low numbers like SM.
Orks have numbers, but suffer from mostly 6+ armor saves and BS2. A full mob can get up to 90 attacks if all of them get into combat, but chances of that are slim.

curing my depression?

Posted by: admin  /  Category: Marine d3

i am a 20 year old male college student and i know i have had depression for over half my life. of course i had reason for it since i was neglected, forced to life with my aunt because my father was a drug addict then i was sent to live with my grandparents, i hate them and they hate me.

during high school things started to look up for me because i finally had strong friend groups, shed my baby fat, started looking good, exercised daily, had a steady income selling energy drinks, etc. but this was short lived because i was expelled at the end of sophomore year [i wont explain why, but depression had something to do with it], then it was back down the depression hill, i was able to keep exercising and doing my homework at a fast pace [trying to graduate early] for my goal which was to join the marines but after they told me i couldnt join that was the last blow. surprisingly i was the ONLY person in the second school i went to that had never been under the influence of drugs and alcohol and i am staying that way until today because dont want to turn into my father.

obviously the job market is rather unfriendly and i could not find a job so i turned to college after high school. i am unable to do my homework because of depression, i never wanted to go to college, i knew that from my first day of the 1st grade. the only reason i am able to get up is because i like my first class, but other than that i am dragging my feet and im not up the hill enough to do much.

there is one week left in the semester and i cant be dragging my feet for finals plus some of the work i am already behind on and if i cant get back up the mountain i know i will not do well this term.

2 weeks ago it hit me again after seeing an ex-girl friend now i am unable to do homework again and my sleep cycle that i have have been trying really hard to keep on schedule is ruined.

i am or have been experiencing the usual symptoms of depression.
Depressed mood
Loss of interest or pleasure in activities you used to enjoy or never enjoyed but have to do out of necessity
Feelings of guilt, hopelessness and worthlessness
recurring thoughts of death, but i am not suicidal
Sleep disturbance (sleeping more or sleeping less or not sleeping at all)
Appetite and weight changes
Difficulty concentrating !!!!!!!!
Lack of energy and fatigue
complete lack of motivation
my mother has clinical depression, so it runs in the family

is there someway i can i can shake this by the end of the weekend so i can finally shake depression for the long hall and/or pass this semester.
thank you for your help, for the past 2 weeks i have been taking vitamin B and a multivitamin and cutting down on sugary foods, i think cutting out the sugary foods was probably a bad idea, i normally want to do changes before a semester to make sure i dont have to readjust during the term. i will look into vitamin D. i just read the B vitamin bottle and it said i wasnt taking enough, it suggests take 2 a day instead of one

yes i have tried channeling my depression into anger, i did it for years, but my wrists and knuckles were in pain all the time from punching things.

i think i might start doing P90X again, it made me feel energized and i often extended my session by 2 because of how good i felt, but depression stopped me from continuing. its really messing me up in bad ways

I hate what antidepressants do to people. If your mom is clinically depressed it is possible that what she really needs is to have her vitamin levels checked. Does she, or do you have night blindness?
I have been depressed & my son has been depressed. When he went to a psychologist after having trouble concentrating & sleeping in college they put him on adderal (a very addictive substance). He ended up having a mental break. I don’t know how to pick up the pieces.

I tell you this because I have learned some things. He had very low vitamin b-12. As I researched I learned that you must get to the root of the problem to fix it & not band aid it. I next found that folate also known as folic acid is needed to make b-12. AND vitamin A is needed to make folate.

B-12 deficiency manifests itself in low energy, poor concentration, insomnia & depression. If this were your problem & you took an antidepressant you would still be sick AND would change brain chemistry, lower thyroid function, gain weight & likely have sexual side affects.

You may be clinically depressed and require treatment. You also may need your vitamin levels checked and take supplements. If you buy a sub lingual vitamin b-12 (taken under tongue), vit. a & folic acid & feel better then you know.

I also suggest a walk outside, regardless of the weather-no sunblock, to boost vit. D. Stay away from alcohol & carbohydrates (sugar).

Alcohol depletes B vitamins & carbs will elevate sugar in the brain fast, but when it quickly lowers you feel terrible. Carbs create a rollercoaster in which you crave them to feed your brain. If you eat fruits & veggies & protein at every meal you won’t experience the low, low depressed states.

I suggest therapy for the emotional baggage. If you can’t then at least tell yourself that you won’t be a victim of your past. You did not deserve neglect and you darn sure do not need to neglect yourself. Forgive those who hurt you. They may have been doing their best, but were hurting or damaged themselves. In this, I speak from experience. You are your own constant companion so DON’T put yourself down. Do your best every day and forgive yourself when your best isn’t what you want it to be. Read books that help you heal, meditate, work out, join in a sport, journal, or the best I found is volunteer at something you care about. (that has healed me)

At night I suggest you eat a piece of cheese, banana & nuts, small glass of milk & take some ionized magnesium. I like Peter Gillham’s Natural Calm. You dissolve it in hot water and drink it. It calms in just a few minutes. There are others out there, but try to find the ionic magnesium for absorption. A piece of turkey helps because it contains tryptophan, which is what makes us sleepy after a turkey dinner & it is the precursor to serotonin, the feel good hormone!! Brazil nuts have selenium, a mood elevator & needed for our brains to process thyroid hormones.

This site is about vit. D & it’s relationship to depression: http://www.vitamindcouncil.org/health-conditions/mental-health-and-learning-disorders/depression/
You may want to supplement D3. You need 2,00 IU daily if you are not geting it from the sun. Most milk is vit. D fortified.

I understand the lack of motivation. Push yourself. Quit being a negative voice in your head & say, "I can!" instead of I can’t. If you run you will get endorphins, runners high.
